Chris Janisz aka C.J. Hartmann is a techno monster, we all know his dark, heavy, deep but melodic and beat-driving sets from his excellent mix in Ultraplay Podcast 015.
Hartmann left London in the beginning of 2009 to look for inspiration which he found in techno-born city - Berlin! He's been headlining there on a big Festival called Lockemuller and his 7 hrs set satisfied a public of 4 thousand people. His talent has been confirmed on NYE 2010 in the well known Zpyz Club (with such a regulars like Phonique, Argy, Heartthrob or Tiefschwarz) where another 7 hrs set, once again as a headliner, warmed up the crowd to the highest possible level.
Now he's working on his first EP which is gonna be released very soon, surely on one of the top German labels! C.J. is back in London to play his brand new, super-fresh dark techno sets. So far he's been seen playing among stars like : Miss Kittin, Ellen Alien, Phil Kieran or Florian Meindl, just to name a few.
Recently Hartmann is working on his residence in Berlin where he promotes ULTRAPLAY and also working on a completely new project with a live singer. Hartmann is looking forward to play soon with with John Dahlback in one of the most famous Berlin's Clubs - Arena. He will be also repeating success from last year and will also be performing as a headliner on Lockemuller Open Air Festival on the 1st of May.
Here in London his music taste was appreciated by the promoters, party people and other DJs. His first residence was infamous RedLight @ Aquarium Club, second one - PTD @ Platinum. Hartmann has played so far in all of the most important London clubs such as The End, The Egg, Aquarium, Mass or Cafe 1001 where he was getting people crazy with his specific sound.
